Your files never leave your device: how local in-browser conversion works
Almost every online converter works the same way: your file is uploaded to their server, converted there, and sent back. That's your data on someone else's disk.
ConvertFlow takes a different approach. Each format codec (JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, PDF, XLSX) is compiled to WebAssembly and loaded lazily in your browser. When you click Convert, your file is decoded and re-encoded in your own machine's memory.
You can verify it: open your browser's DevTools Network tab, load the page, then disconnect from the internet. Conversions still work โ because nothing needs a server.
